The unit monitors the indoor and outdoor temperatures from up to three remote locations and warns you when temperatures drops low enough for icy streets and sidewalks. The included remote installs up to 100 feet away to transmit accurate temperature data to the main console inside the home or office. Outdoor temperature readings are displayed in large LCD digits for easy reading at a glance from across the room. Resting on a desktop on its stand or mounted to the refrigerator with the integrated magnet, the thermometer’s LED light blinks green when sub-freezing temperatures are reached in the driveway, the greenhouse, the basement or wherever cold-sensitive items might be stored.
