| Oregon Scientific supports UK triathletes |
| Consumer electronics specialist Oregon Scientific continues to demonstrate its commitment to UK athletes with its renewed sponsorship of the British Triathlon Association (BTA). Oregon Scientific’s healthcare and fitness products are used by triathletes at all levels to help them train smarter and more efficiently.
“Triathlon is an increasingly popular sport across Britain as people realise that the disciplines of triathlon - swimming, running and cycling - suit men and women of all ages and abilities,” said Paul Molyneux, Managing Director of Oregon Scientific UK. “We want to help raise awareness of triathlon, and how people can make the most out of their training schedule,” he added.
The sponsorship takes the form of Oregon Scientific supporting the BTA Grand Prix National Ranking Series, which encompasses 12 triathlon and 9 duathlon races across the UK. Oregon Scientific will also be the official supplier of sports watches to the British Triathlon Association. With a presence at events, triathletes will be able to
discuss individual needs with Oregon Scientific and find out which product most suits their training schedule from entry level heart rate monitors to Oregon Scientific’s feature rich Outbreaker sports watches.
The BTA supports triathletes from amateurs looking for advice and
information from the website, to the British team for Athens 2004.
